Since it opened in 2019, Reata Glen has been a hit with seniors looking for a community that will fit their needs for years to come. “We’re currently at the final phase of selling out,” says marketing and sales director Stephanie Riggs. “By the end of this year, we expect to be completely full.”

In fact, Riggs notes, Reata Glen has already started a waitlist for folks interested in moving into one of the 480 homes on site. What that means is that they’ll be able to attend some resident activities and familiarize themselves with the community until a home becomes available.

So, what makes Reata Glen so popular? It might be the wide variety of housing available. The community is divided into three neighborhoods — apartments, garden terraces and single story homes known as villas — each of which offers multiple floor plans. Potential residents have options ranging from a 650-square foot, one-bedroom apartment to a three-bedroom house of about 3,000 square feet.

The real selling point, though, is the access to healthcare that residents have on site. Reata Glen’s health facility is equipped to handle memory care and longterm care with skilled nursing if needed. For independent seniors thinking about the future, Riggs says, this offers peace of mind.

“They know that no matter what happens to them, they are fully covered and have the ability to be able to age in place here at Reata Glen,” Riggs said.
